Does Hog's Dogs charge more for multiple pets?

We love animals so we won't charge you any additional rates for the first two (2) dogs.  Thereafter, for each additional dog, it will be $5 fee per dog, per visit.

Will the Dog Walker record notes about your pet during each visit?

Of course!  Each visit will include a "report card" to keep you fully informed on what happened during that day's visit.

Do you provide emergency services to a local veterinarian?

Yes; if there is an emergency, we will take your pet to your preferred veterinarian.  If necessary, on-site veterinary care can and may be requested based on the decision of the Owner, and the severity of the emergency.

How can I help my Dog Walker and my pet?

1. Make reservations with your Dog Walker in advance, especially during holidays.
2. Keep your pet's collar on with current identification tags.
3. Provide clear instructions detailing specific pet care on the forms that Hog's Dogs will provide to you as part of the Services Agreement.
4. Buy extra pet supplies in case you’re away longer than planned.
5. Leave a key with a trustworthy neighbor as a backup, or well hidden outside, but be sure those extra keys work before giving them out.

What payment options does Hog's Dogs offer?

Payments are due prior to the start of your visit(s). We accept cash, money order, checks, and credit cards. You can update your pet care profile to include your credit card information. We will charge your card 1-7 days prior to the start of care. Once you enter in your credit card info we are only able to see the last 4 digits and we use a secure site so your information is encrypted.  Please note that there will be a $25 fee for any returned checks.

How do I set up a consultation and dog walking services?

We will provide one (1) initial "meet and greet" consultation, free of charge, to give you a chance to get to know us on a more personal level, allow us to meet your pet(s), and review our Services Agreement, services offered, and pricing/fees in further detail.

To schedule your consultation or services, please click on the "Contact Information" tab and contact us via email, phone, or text.  We offer early morning, mid-day, evening, weekend, and emergency walking services. 

What hours and days are you available for services?

Hog's Dogs tries to be as flexible as possible to accommodate the busiest of schedules.  While we offer extremely flexible hours during the work week and on Saturdays, based on your needs and work schedule, due to our religious affiliation we are typically available for emergency visits and walking services only after 2:00 pm on Sundays. 

Our "normal" business hours (for the $20/visit rate) are as follows:

Monday - Friday:  6:00 am - 10:00 pm
Saturday:  8:00 am - 8:00 pm

Visits falling outside of our "normal" business hours will be charged at the emergency visit rate of $35 per 45 minute session. 

Can we contact you while we're at work, away from home, etc?

We encourage this!  We want you to feel connected to your pet's care while you're away from home and will be glad to answer any and all questions anytime, day or night.  Call, email or text us and we'll respond as soon as possible.

Will my personal information be secure?

Absolutely.  Any and all information pertaining to access to your home, billing, payments, veterinary, and other personal information will be secure, locked, and password protected at all times.

Are there Cancellation Fees?

Hog's Dogs carefully schedules our time to service you and our other clients.   Our Walkers block out the appropriate time in their busy schedules to accommodate each client.  If at least 24 hours notice isn't made prior to to the first day of service, this results in a lost client for the sitter that she or he could have taken on. Therefore, 24 hours notice prior to the first day of service is required for cancellations.  If a notice isn't made to Hog's Dogs, a $20 cancellation fee will be billed to you and is due upon receipt.
